การออกแบบและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และชิ้นส่วนประกอบสำหรับการผลิต และ การใช้งาน การวางแผนและลักษณะของกรรมวิธีการผลิตที่สำคัญ เช่น งานหล่อ การขึ้นรูป การเชื่อม การออกแบบเพื่อกรรมวิธีการผลิต ประเภทต่างๆ การออกแบบแนวคิดผลิตภัณฑ์ และการสร้างแนวคิดให้เป็นรูปธรรม การออกแบบเพื่อต้นทุนการผลิตที่เหมาะสม ระบบอัตโนมัติในการผลิต ส่วนประกอบของระบบควบคุมอัตโนมัติในอุตสาหกรรม
